The key for me is to interview job applicants with the aim of them revealing what they are best at and convincing you why. To get to this place will take some humility on your part. Oftentimes you will be in a more senior position than your interviewees but you must ensure they have the space and direction to show the best of themselves. This way, you’re more likely to uncover those hidden gems that will drive your business forward.
