Negotiation; When is the right time to negotiate?
You may have been there yourself; you are negotiating some new business with your potential customer and then they ask for a minor condition of sale that is either awkward, difficult or troublesome for you to deliver. Something you can’t wholeheartedly agree to in the moment.
So what do you do?
I learnt (the hard way) that pushing back in the moment is not always the best way ... Sometimes it is better to discuss the details at a later stage.
